Layoff blues

It's not easy for the boss, either:

We had to lay people off to keep the company healthy, but you start second-guessing yourself. You wonder what you might have missed. It’s easy in a market like this to tell yourself it’s not your fault. Some of the best-known companies and managers are making the same decision. That might be true, but it seems like a flimsy excuse.

It would be fantastic if Wall Street and Big Three management held similar values and mindset.
